Hey giants, we continue adressing your main Alliances related concerns
A lot of you were worried because frequently you did find too inactive players or alliances compared to you, that the new Alliance Shield was too short and that the low level planets generated a too high amount of warpoints with the new system and that it was too easy now to get alliance medals.
We hope you like these tweaks to improve the game in this direction!
Improvements
Alliances matchmaking improved: now also tries to select first available alliances with a level of recent activity more similar to you. NOTE: Please notice that the new system will need to collect war activity data during a few days more before starting to provide the desired results.
The game now declares as inactive the players who didn't play in the last 40 days and when this happens they are automatically kicked out from their alliances. They are also hidden automatically from friendlists, galaxy map and leaderboards until they play again. (I'd need a few days to be at 100%, it will start to log data in this new game version)
Alliance Shield is now varies from 6 hours to 48 hours. Depends on the number of wars you recently won or lost in a row.
We have raised the warpoints penalty for attacking lower level planets, it was too generous to prevent abuse from low level planets and colonies, and to encourage instead to get points from higher level planets.
We have decreased the warpoints that lower levels planets receive when attacking to encourage them more to level up, and to slow down thier medal progression that was boosted too much in the last release. For them now it's also better to join alliances with members of their level, since now they will be basically just easy points for the enemy in case they are with high level players.
Fixes
Now to send gifts doesn't automatically close its popup, so it's easier and faster to continue sending more gifts.
